The Dromex® A.P.T™ ((Arc Protective Technologies) 100 cal/cm², mitt-style Switching Gloves, is an innovative lightweight 3 layer fabric construction designed to protect the hands against the hazards of heat whilst providing user comfort.
These mitt-style gloves are suitable for use in category 4 ARC related hazards and feature the following:
• The mitten design provides greater thermal insulation to the hands than traditional 5 finger gloves.
• An elasticated shirred cuff for an ideal fit.
• Double needle topstitching on elastic and hems for added durability.
• ATPV 100 cal/cm² FR Embroidery on cuff for garment identification and Dromex® Arc heat transfer print.
• The Dromex® A.P.T™ fabric is self-extinguishing, heat resistant and resistant to ignition.
• Seams are sewn with inherent flame retardant thread.
These gloves can be used in category 1,2,3 and 4 ARC related hazards when worn with Arc protective clothing and equipment. They are suitable when working in industries where users are exposed to the possibility of a high voltage Arc blast such as power companies, installation, maintenance and repairs involving high voltage equipment.
